The gasoline here in California seems different lately. I think they increased the ethanol, because nothing I have gets the gas mileage it once did. Both my XS650s feel different. It's been hot lately, but I don't think it's the heat. I run Chevron and Shell premium gasoline now, but even it seems different. The gas mileage in both the car and the pickup dropped this summer too. Something weird is going on.

LOL! :-) San Francisco has taken all our water, but the only thing they can do about gasoline is put higher and higher taxes on it. People just insist on diving to work every day. The quality of gasoline here is very inconsistent lately. Branded gas is the only thing safe, and it is not even close to what it used to be. Premium is about the same as Regular was, and regular 87 here has varying degrees of alcohol in it so mileage is bad . It's like third world gasoline, and I have lived in the third world countries. We filled up yesterday and I could actually hear the difference in my friends fuel injected Harley. Weird? I carry a Rotopak just so I don't have to buy random gasoline.
