Hello Rotten, I have purchased two, one from G&L Choppers (which I did not care for), and one from T/C Brothers, which I liked very much. I much prefered the T/C Brothers axle plate as compared to the G&L. I have also have a friend that went through Kansas Customs, and he is very happy with it. I may be mistaken, but I believe T/C Bros. has a "drop seat" hardtail available now? I am 6'0 tall, the bike I have now, has 4" of stretch in the hardtail section and 38 degrees rake in the fork neck. I have forward controls, and 4" stretch is plenty. I have never had a XS with stock rake, seems like a lot of stretch in the back with no rake would not handle very well. I think you would be happy with 3-4" stretch. Good luck, and happy building!
