I'd like to learn how to reassemble a 650 from the ground up. I want to learn this before I attempt to build a bobber in the next coming months. What steps do you guys take to reassemble your bikes? I appreciate any info you guys could give me and the more detailed, the better.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard. You're asking for a lot here, and most of the responses you'll get from that sort of very broad question will be from guys who've done the job once and shouldn't be responding at all. You'll get better results if you download the factory manual from www.biker.net and read it, do some searches on your own, and come back with specific questions if you find any of the steps or terms confusing, find contradictory advice, etc.

If your gonna cut something up... make it an old beater... not something anywhere close to "restorable". There are lots of bikes people cut and dump because they lose interest or funds or... Yea mine was close to showroom when I cut it... 40 years ago... Good luck on your build
