XS Performance 1-1/2" OD pipe fitment problem

So I haven't posted to this site for quite awhile, but finally have resumed work on my 650 cafe bike. I purchased a pair of XS Performance pipes from Mikes'XS two years ago and over the weekend began fitting them to the bike. It appears that the two pipes don't mirror each other and that the lefthand pipe does not run parallel to the frame as the right hand one does. As you can guess this affects how the mfflers want to line up with regard to each other. Has anyone experienced this? Warren
