This is one of those cheap Muvi Veho micro cameras attached with velcro in my helmet. Got stung by a bee and had to pull over to get it out of my back on my way up, but it was a nice day for a ride. I would put tape over the mic if I could find it, but for a $50 camera I didn't expect much.
The camera ia about the size of my thumb will record for about 90 min without stopping.

Thanks Rod
Yeah that is a pretty neat little gadget. It has a little strap that goes around my neck in case falls and I use a Velcro to hold it in the side of the helmet. I have had the camera since Christmas, but I haven’t had any time to mess with it or figure out how to deal with cutting down the sound. At low speed that is pretty much what my bike sounds like. At high speed all you hear is wind and a little engine noise. I bought the camera on Amazon with an additional memory card and still paid less than $100. I think it was like $92 shipping and all. Once it’s in your helmet you don’t even notice it. The video is not bad considering you're shooting through the curved part of the Plexiglas face shield.
On the way up I got stung by a bee on the neck and at one point had to dodge some plastic bottles the wind blew across the road, but other than that it was a really nice ride. When I returned home there was no oil seeping anywhere on the head too. I was pretty happy with that too.

Richard- I've tried 2 different cameras that had the same result..crappy sound due to wind and vibes (yours did much better). Tape over the mic hole helped, but the internal rattling inside was so bad it ruined both vids. I used a suction cup mount, but considering how buzzy the bike is, no luck in finding a sweet spot yet. Keep trying, it's a great vid even without the sound
