The diaphragms that I installed on my XS-2 carbs do not hold tightly on the slide. The slide rotates, and the bike starts running badly. I have tried my best fuel resistant silicon adhesive, but it only lasted for about a year. Any recommendations for a permanent bond between the slide and diaphragm? Also, the one diaphragm (one year old) now has a tiny pinhole near the outer rim. Is there any material or goop that I can use to patch and seal this tiny pinhole, or am I stuck in ordering another new diaphragm? Thanks for your assistance.

I was having the same problem with mine last year. Some said it was because of something on the slide or in carb body but I cleaned it out real good(twice) and it did not stop it from rotating. This year, when I had them apart for a pre-season cleaning, I used five drops of super glue at the top lip of the slide. Also, I noticed that the fit wasn't very snug like they were when new. One was worse than the other so I pulled it off to find it had two cracks in the rubber around the slide area.
