I have been building a XS Cafe Racer for 6 years. Needless to say I have not been on top of it all the time. But today I got the bike out and ran it around the neighborhood a few laps. I stopped before someone called the cops.
I feel the next step just might be getting a seat made then paint it up!

Sounds like you're having fun. It's fine not to be on top of the machine all the time, as long as it's not on top of you any of the time. Welcome aboard!

Seat is made and mounted. The bike still has a few niggling things that need straightening up. Like a loose tach (bounces around).

Gday Bill.. Yeah my tacho does the same thing.. If i tighten it up from the back it seems to jump around but when I loosen it a little it seems to stay smooth and accurate.. Strange..
