Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce myself. My Name is Nico and I hope to build a xs 650 bobber of my own over the winter.
I am hoping to build this bike from scratch. I found a set of solid blueprints to make the frame but I am having a hard time finding a reliable source to get all the parts. I am also having a hard time finding a motor.. I am a rookie at all of this so I don't know the key words or things to look for yet but I am a quick learner and I am pumped to get this project going hopefully. If anyone could help me out with finding an engine and a site or store with great parts that would be awesome!!
cheers, nicoo

Try Lowbrow Customs or TC Bros. Choppers LLC.

I might suggest getting a complete bike, with a good title. Get it running and ride it. This will help you understand the bike better. Then chop the frame up and rebuild it as you want. Sell of the parts you don't use to finance your build. Using a titled bike you have a good neck with numbers. Easier to tiltle that way. No sense in investing a few thousand bucks on a bike you can't title. Leo
