The problem is simple. The starter button on my 76C model is missing. I have the spring but not the button. The rest of the right side switch is clean and original. I have seen replacement horn buttons, but they were not listed as a replacement for the starter circuit. Like to keep the original switch. Mitch.

The plastic button broke off, that's common. The horn and starter use the same button, in fact, most Jap bikes from this era use the same button. You can usually scrounge one from an old control assembly, no matter what bike it came from.

Thanks again 5 twins. I was hoping the two buttons would be the same. I dig around my parts and see if i can come up with something. Got the 76 running pretty good. Now get the front brake system overhauled and ill be ready to hit the highway. Keep it on one wheel. Mitch.
