First of all, everyone have a good and safe riding season this year:D
Second, apologize cause this is a repost. I originally posted in the wrong thread.
Thirdly, my 1980 650xs is my first bike, so I don't want to get rid of it...but MAN does that seat have to be replaced. Before I start shopping around, does ne1 know of good seats to replace it with, which seats will fit, and ne other recommendations? Something a bit wider and a lot more comfortable, lol.
Two-up would b nice...but I'll ditch her for a comfortable ride;)

Griz gave me advice on reworking the seat, and just recently got the foam to start on it. Is there a cover in place? Is the metal pan all in one piece? Might be able to custom carve the foam to fit you and re-cover it yourself...new pieces are kinda pricey

I'd def try it tho, the cover does need to be replaced, a few rips, and the pan is in one piece. I wouldn't even know how to begin with making my own seat.

I was just checking out www.650central.com and fell in LOVE with the "Double Bucket" seat. Has anyone bought this and how do you like it? *On a side note*: Now that I actually read my post...I think I might be misleading. It's not that the original seat is in bad condition, it's in great condition actually. The trouble I am having with it is that my fat butt doesn't like it. Just to clarify in case I was confusing. Thanks for the suggestion HeadCase, if you can convince me that doing my own (since I have never done it) would be easy, I might try it, but until then the Double Bucket is looking to be the winner.
