Nate has been a long time friend that this didn't need to happen to . Obviously this doesn't need to happen to anyone but Nate has had his fill of body damage over the years and is usually a competent if not talented rider of more than five years . From what we know of the investigation it was a constant radius right hand on ramp with several degrees of banking to it . No one actually saw the bike depart control so we may never know . Nate isn't in much better shape than the bike but alive and in stable if not critical condition . The actual extent of the injuries is conjecture at this point but includes up to and including a collar bone and several ribs as well as blunt force trauma to the torso and head . I know after reading this I don't have to ask the family here to have a good thought Nate . For the rest of you it can't hurt , takes little away from what and who you are and just might help . Never underestimate the power of positive thought and feeling . ~kop

That is great news about Nate recovering so quickly after surgery. I hope the rest of his recovery is quick also. The bike pictures are very scarey!

I have seen an accident like that that had a much worse out come. He is lucky to be alive and I hope he gets well soon. These kinds of things are life’s way of letting you know what’s really important.
I went off the road once in a banked corner because there were a few small sticks that flew from a tree onto the road, they rolled under my rear tire and away I went. The bike was totaled but I was launched over the rocks and survived. You never know about things like that.
