Just ordering some parts online and i notice that they list diferent barrels for a 447 and a 533. I have a spare set of barrels to go on my 447 engine but don't know what they came off, how can i tell what they are. Im presuming the strokes are diferent. Thanks..

Correct, the 533 has longer rods. Measure cylinder heights and compare..

strokes are exactly the same for both models, the 533 using a piston with a higher piston pin position to compensate using the longer rod for correct deck height............Jack

Hey, Jack, good to see ya here! Thanks for the correction--I'd always assumed the longer rod made for a longer stroke, and ya know what they say about assumption....

Thanks Jack. Not got the original pistons so i'l fit my spares without rings for now and check the height with my spare barrel.
