Here is the bike I built this winter. There are a lot of little tweaks that make it kind of unique. It is a blast to ride!

Oow I need my sunglasses. Very shiney. Looks good. Did you leave the mud guard? Bet it will run circles around that Ford. ;D

The rear fender that year was a unit construction and goes almost to the swingarm. I left that the way it was except for the back end. It has a Port/Polish job, Camshaft, and I played with the carbs a little. Yeah, that Chevy in the background with its 350 doesnt stand a chance. (BTW there are 27 coats of paint on it)

27 coats !!! Thats alot of rubbing no doubt. The pinstripping looks nice too. Did you find solid clamps for your gaters or turn the screws to the inside? I was referring to the white top, blue fender rig I see over the tank

Clamps up top with screws inside and black zip strips on bottom to within an inch of their life (they haven't slipped yet.) Woops on the Ford. Actually, its a "Farmtrac" but close enough cuz theyre whats left of the old Ford line. That 350 still doesnt even come close ;D

Nice! How do you like the sound of the megaphones? I'm thinking of mounting a set on my cafe project.
Best,
Michael

The sound is simply awesome. With the engine mods I have they sound super meaty. Guys with bigtwin Harleys cant believe how it rumbles. There is some packing inside of them that is worthless. Either take it out before you put them on or crack the throttle a few good hard times and it will be blown to the back of the pipe. They do drag through the corners so maybe mount yours a little higher, but then again, my bike is a little lower. Awesome pipe all through the RPM band. Hope this helps.

Tell me about the front caliper... I don't see it. Is it behind the fork?

Not my bike, but the front caliper is not installed... the mounting ears on the forks are visible.

looking nice, wouldn't mind doing a xs cafe racer for myself one day, if I ever finish the chop that I am doing...that sure looks like a sweet ride though..
